This is the Page the Boys Made

Dear Boys. Isn’t it fun having a page of our own? Kiwi and 1 have had a most exciting lime reading blood-thirsty tales of pirates and buccaneers. My hair stood 011 end so fiercely that all the Blots thought I was trying lo frighten them, and they hid under the blotter. You’ve all done simply splendidly with your contributions. We’ve shown the girls that they aren't the only ones who can work hard. I’ve had so many adventures, and such exciting ones, that I could almost fill up the whole page with them, just telling you; however, Kiwi told me that I must write an adventure, very nicely, every week, so you’ll soon hear all about them. I hope that everybody is thinking hard about Holiday Adventure Stories, because even with such exciting things as going back io school, you mustn’t forget the Birthday Page. When Kiwi first began to talk about birthdays, I mentioned, just sort of accidentally, that I’d rather like a new inkwell and several other (. J things as well, but if that was too much, just the ' inkwell would do, thank you; but it isn’t my birthday at all. Never mind, I’ll let you knozu when mine really is. What fun school must be after such a long J \ holiday, so many things to talk about and new yJ&s things to do, beginning all over again to work hard and play well, so that you get the very V* best of everything that school days can give you. I \ My love Jo you all, (and piles and piles I \ of entries for the competitions, please.) -
