SAILORS’ FRIEND SOCIETY
The performers for the mid-week concert given in Ihe Sailors' Friend Society Institute on Wednesday faced an appreciative audience. Miss Smith, who was hostess for the evening, had arranged an enjoyable programme, including in her party several youthful but talented entertainers. They were Pearl Evans, Bonnie Mcßae. Nancy Potter, Helen Freeman, Douglas Hill. Misses Dowing nnd Stewart, and Master Dillon. Other 'performers xvere Mesdames Sellens, Evans, Clayton and Mr. Bennett. Mr. P. Archer was accompanist.
Supper was served by members of the concert party. ,
