BODY WASHED UP
Passenger to Roto Roa

Auckland, Feb. 3.
The body of Henry George Forbes, labourer, aged 53, a married man of Frankton Junction, was found last evening washed up ou I’onui Island in the Hauraki Gulf.
On January 31 Forbes was placed on board a steamer for Roto Roa Island, whither be was being sent for twelve months. On the arrival of the steamer .he was missing, but it was thought that be might have swum ashore in the darkness.
