BRITISH NATIONAL ANTHEM
At His Majesty’s express wish the standardised playing of the National Anthem by civilian as well as by Army bands and orchestras will be the outcome of an Army order. The rearrangement of the anthem does not alter the harmony but the tempo, enabling a standard rendering in accordance with the necessary dignity.
