Visit to ManaAvatu PRAISE FOR COLLEGE Doahnion Special Service. I’a.hiierston North, Jau. 25. The party of Victorian farmers, at present conducting a tour of Ibe Dominion, visited Palmerston North yesterday and to-day. This afternoon they left lor the Hawke’s Bay district. The party paid a visit of inspection to Massey Agricultural College. Tin; party manager, Mr. E. G. Ham. M.8.E., said the institution was an asset to the .Dominion. and the value of the research work could not be reckoned in monetary terms. Air. Ham said the party was particularly impressed with the work of the wool research staff. 'The Dairy Research Institute was far ahead of any organisation in Victoria, while the Plant Research Station made a strong appeal to members of the parly. Though be was not in aposition to compare the Manawatu district with other districts he had visited. Mr. Ham said he considered the district must expand under reasonable administration.
