sure is low over the greater part of Australia. Moderate to strong winds, but decreasing southerly to south-easterly, later

backing to north-easterly. Seas rough between Kaikoura and East Cape and in the Cook Strait area:

elsewhere moderate in New Zealand waters. Moderate south-east to east and later north-east winds in the eastern Tasman

Sea; seas moderate. Weather fair to fine generally, but some passing showers at first in the eastern and far northern portions of the North Island. Temperatures cool, but becoming warmer again after to-morrow.
