Revue, with all its brightness, sparkle ami whirlwind action, will be presented to playgoers of Wellington next Saturday,' at the Grand Opera House, when J. C. Williamson, Ltd., will present Frank Neil’s incomparable Vaudeville Revue Company in the brilliant and exquisite musical comedy extravaganza, “Pleasure Bound,” which recently created a furore in Auckland, where it attracted record audiences for twelve performances. “The success of ‘Pleasure Bound,’ ” wrote an Auckland critic, “proved in no uncertain manner that light stage entertainment of quality is far from dead. It. must have been a genuine pleasure for the company to play to an audience which so obviously entered into the spirit’of " things—Miss ■Ella Shields and Mr. - George Wallace both admitted as much in curtain speeches—but it was not merely a case of sentimental reaction to ‘flesh and blood’ attractions. He is droll, original and genuinely humorous, and he has his audiences laughing at and with him the whole time he is on the stage.
