BILLIARDS LEAGUE
Play in Seventh Round There were some surprise results in tlie seventh round of the Wellington Billiards and Snooker League played off on Friday evening. Jlany teams apparently struck unexpected form after the holiday intervention. Brooklyn, leaders of the competition, met with an unexpected reverse from Alpha, the latter winning in convincing style, with a margin of 8 games. Detailed results are as follow: —Y.M.C.A. 12, Miramar 4; Empire 11. Island Bay 5; P. and T. 8, Queen’s 8: National Club 8, Lyall Bay 8; Alpha 12. Brooklyn 4: City 13, Midland 3; Victory' 9, Kilbirnie 7. The championship table to date is as follows :—
