NATIONAL FLOWER SHOW
The national flower show will be held in the Town Hall on Thursday and Friday, when superb exhibits of many kinds will be on show. The competitive classes include sections for begonias, carnations, dahlias, roses, sweet pears, gladioli, ana many other items. There will also be displays of native plants,fruit, flax, and florists creations. The opening ceremony will be performed by the Mayor, Mr. T. C. A. Hislop, on Thursday afternoon.
