Great Half-miler.— Geoffrey Broadway, of Canterbury, national amateur half-mile champion, who will take part at the Basin Reserve to-morrow in the interprovincial contest, 'Wellington v. Canterbury. The Canterbury team is an exceptionally good one, and is said to be the strongest ever chosen to represent the southern province. Broadway’s race against W. Ogg, of Wellington, should be a highlight of the meeting.
