Covering an area of an acre and a quarter, with a total floor storage space of two and a half acres, the store is unique m Australasia. Erected on re-inforced concrete foundations, the store is constructed in electrically welded steel, giving more strength than the usual method of steel construction, and making the structure earthquake and fireproof. The full storage capacity is 54,000 bales, or approximately 9700 tons of wool. For display and valuing purposes, there is ample accommodation for a catalogue of 8000 bales.
