They have now arranged to have the “best ever," a wonderful week of jollity, a full-sized slap for Mr. Slump. See the New Napier People who have not seen Napier since the earthquake will have a very pleasant ' surprise in the new town, which shows some remarkable improvements on the old order. Bargain Fares The return fares from Wellington to Napier are only 21 /- second-class, and 31/- first. Proportionate reductions are available from intermediate stations. Extra Day at Napier SATURDAY, January 21, the Special will leave Thorndon 12.55 p.m., Paekakariki 2.5, Otaki 2.37, Levin 3.0, Shannon 3.18, Palmerston North 4.5, and arrive at Napier 8.20 p.m. On MONDAY (public holiday) the return train will leave Napier at 4.5 p.m., arrive at Palmerston North at 8.13 p.m., and Thorndon at 11.26 p.m. Trams for Suburbs and buses for Petone and Lower Hutt will meet the train. The excursion tickets will also be. available for return on Tuesday by the Napier-Wellington express train, leaving Napier at 8.28 a.m. The seat-reservation charge is only 1/- for the combined up and down journeys on the special trains.
