Remarks by Mr. Waugh OFFICIALS IN REPLY Commenting ou the remarks of Mr. T Waugh made at the meeting ot the executive committee of the M inter Show Association on Monday evening iu regard to the change of venue from the show building to the lowu Hall, oliicials of the Wellington Horticultural Society made the following statement “At a meeting of the \Veliington Horticultural Society ou April 19 last, the delegates to a conference called to consider the holding of a national flower show in Wellington reported that it had been decided by the delegates that a national Hower show should be held in the Wellington Town Hall on the last Thursday and Friday of January, 1933. Also that the Wellington Horticultural Society had undertaken to take its full share of the financial and other responsibility involved. "At a previous meeting held 011 Aprn 12 of the National Show Committee it was resolved to hold a national ilower show on the last. Thursday aud I riday of January, 1933, in the Wellington Towu Hall. In order to save any misunderstanding the secretary of the National Flower Show was instructed to obtain a letter from the towu clerkconfirming the hiring of the Town Hall aud Concert Chamber for those dates. "The schedule of classes was also printed under Mr. Waugh’s personal direction, showing that the National Flower Show would be held in the Wellington Town Hall aud Concert Chamber.”
