Possibility of Crash Against Mountain TOURIST’S REPORT By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. London, Jan. 15. The airman, Captain W. L. Hope, got away at 9 o’clock this morning, ami has arrived at Basle. He will begin the search for Squadron-leader Hinkler in the afternoon if possible. Captain Hope received through the Air Ministry a telegram from a British tourist saying that while 1000 ft up a mountain near Morgins be saw an aeroplane flying east-south-east. It might have beeii Mr. Hinkler’s. The machine was apparently heading for Simplon. He tbii . that Mr. Hinkler lost his way and possibly crashed into a mountain wall.
