YESTERDAY’S WEATHER
Sunshine and Cloud in City Cloudy conditions alternating with frequent periods of bright sunshine prevailed in Wellington yesterday. There was a high north wind. The continuation of line sunny weather and a light southerly breeze was experienced at Auckland. Tiie barometer fell slightly but was steady during the evening. The weather at Christchurch was bright and sunny with a light nor’wester in the morning and a fresh breeze from the east-north-east in the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 71 degrees. The barometer was steady at 29.83 till 5 p.m., when it had a tendency to rise. Light showers fell early in the morning at Dunedin, but conditions were gloriously line for the remainder of tiie day. A light north-east breeze was blowing. The barometer shows little movement.
