'l'ue judging °C the animals entered in the AlauawatutOroua division of the boys’ and girls’ agricultural club movement was made at the Palmerstou North showgrounds this morning. The judges wore Messrs. <l. IL McLinden (Massey Agricultural College), rearing, and A. Horn (Kuku), type. The results were as tollow ; — Care and rearing: Molly Slatherley (Rongotea), 1 and champion; AV. Scott (Glen Oroua). 2 and reserve champion; Fred Anderson (Ashhurst), 3. Judging competition: Dell Adsett (Colyton), 1; Jim Stephenson (Longburn), 2; W. Scott (Glen Oroua), 2. Dairy type: W. Scott (Glen Oroua), 1 and champion; Noeline Ansin (Taonui), 2 and reserve champion; Margaret Cheethani'(Taouui). 3. Yearling heifers: Newman )\ ilson (Longburn), 1 and champion; W. Scott (Glen Oroua). 2 and reserve champion; Bettv Wilson (Longburn), 3. Inter-school competition for the B. ami A. Challenge Cup: Glen Oroua School, 30 points, 1: Longburn School, 26 points, 2; Taonui School, 20 points, 3. The cups and certificates won were presented by Mr. M. A. Eliott, president of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association.
