Line steamer Port Hunter reached New Plymouth yesterday morning from Wellington to complete discharge of her cargo from New York and Corpus Christi, and to commence her Homeward loading. She is to leave there again on December .21 for Wanganui, Napier, Auckland, Gisborne, and Wellington to complete. The Port Hunter is due here on January 11, and is scheduled to clear this port finally on January 14 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Cape Horn, Montevideo, and Dakar. RUAHINE LOADING. The New. Zealand Shipping Company’s liner Ruahine was due at Nelson last night from Port Chalmers to.complete discharge of her London cargo and to commence her Homeward loading. She is to leave there again next Tuesday for New Plymouth, Auckland, and Wellington to complete, is due here on January 3, and is scheduled to clear this port finally on January 6 for London, via the Panama Canal. BENCRUACHAN PASSES HEADS. The G. H. Scales chartered steamer Beneruachan, bound from Picton to Napier to load wool for Dunkirk, London, and Hull, passed the Wellington Heads at 11 a.m. yesterday. TASMANIA SAILS. Having completed her Homeward loading, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Tasmania left Auckland at 7 a.m. yesterday for London and Liverpool, via Cape Horn, Montevideo and Las Palmas. NIAGARA LEAVES HONOLULU. The Union Company’s liner Niagara, en route from Vancouver, left Honolulu yesterday for Suva, Auckland and Sydney. She is due at Auckland on December 26. THE PORT SYDNEY. The C. and D. Line has received cabled advice that the Port Sydney left Port Kembla at 6 a.m. yesterday for Wanganui, where she is- duo next Sunday to commence her Homeward loading. She will later complete at Gisborne, Napier, Wellington, and Lyttelton. The vessel is due here on January 4 and is scheduled to clear Lyttelton finally on January 10 for London, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas.

SUGAR FROM JAVAWith a full cargo of raw sugar the steamer Dalcross reached Auckland yesterday morning from Java. NOTICES TO MARINERS. The Marine Department advises that reclamation works to the west side of tho Main Wharf in Bluff Harbour render it dangerous to approach within a line drawn 117 degrees from an approximate position 92 yards, 240 degrees from the inner corner of the western end. _ ■. The department also advises alteration in the character of a light at Udu Point. Fiji Islands.
