PRISON ESCAPEE
Police Remand Granted Arrested near Hunterville, Frederick William Schluter, engineer, aged 42, who escaped from Mount Eden Gaol on April 29, was brought before Mr. E. Pagf. S.M., in the Police Court yesterday morning and charged with being ( an incorrigible rogue in that he escaped from a place of legal confinement. On the application of Sub-Inspector Martin accused was remanded until December 21.
