Championship Positions Altered An amended ruling in a billiards gam« between Brooklyn and National Club, played last Thursday, has rather altered the championship position of these two teams in the Wellington Billiards and Snooker League. Brooklyn is now level with National Club, with 16 point?, while the position of the other teams remains unaltered. The rules of the championship demand that billiards games be 100 up only, and although two contestants last Thursday agreed to play a demonstration 200 up,' which resulted in a win for the National Club, this game has been upset by the committee, and the points for victory awarded to Brooklyn, whose representative. though unsuccessful at the final score, was first to reach 100.
