UNIVERSITY RUGBY
Tour by Australians Representing the Australian Universities, a Rugby football team will visit. New Zealand in May next. The prospective tour is the outcome of ah invitation extended by the N.Z. University Football Club, which has been accepted. From a letter received by Mr. T. Hislop, secretary of the N.Z.U.F.C., from Mr. J. T. Gunter, secretary of the Sydney University R.F. Club, it seems that the University Rugby men of Brisbane. Sydney, and Melbourne are very enthusiastic about the tour, and that little difficulty will bo experienced in arranging a very strong team.
The tour is subject to approval by the New Zealand Rugby Union, but it is anticipated that the parent body will readily give its consent.
