Misses Montgomery, Kelburn, have returned home after a visit to Sydney. .Mrs. J. P. Firth has returned to Wellington after a visit to the Franz Josef Glacier. Lady Findlay left Wellington for the south last night to spend Christmas with her son. Squadron-Leader: J. L. Findlay, in Christchurch. Mrs. Thodey, Wellington, who is the guest of her sister, Mrs. Clennell Fenwick, in Christchurch, will return heme on Friday. Lady Carncross and Miss Sibyl Carncross returned to their home in Eltham yesterday. Mrs. A. Newson, Christchurch, will arrive in 'Wellington this morning, accompanied by her son, Mr. Noel Newson, who is en route for London. Mrs. Clarence Turner, Wellington, was the guest of Mrs. Brabazon, Clermont Terrace, last week, before leaving for Christchurch, where she will in future reside.

Miss Agues Duncan arrived from Sydney by the Monowai yesterday and will spend the Christmas holidays with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. lan Duncan, Hobson Street.

Miss Mary Crawford, Lyttelton, who has concluded her training as a nurse at the Christchurch Hospital, will arrive in Wellington this morning to commence a course of special training at the Alexandra Home. Mrs. Duncan Simpson, of Heaton Park, Marton, and Mrs. D. Bodie, of Wellington, have returned from an extended tour abroad. Mrs. Rodie has taken up residence in her beach cottage at Eastbourne. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Copeland, who hare been abroad, have returned to New Zealand via the East and Sydney, and are spending a few days in Wellington before returning to Christchurch this week.
