CHEERING CROWD
Prince on Football Ground London, Dec. U. Cheering for several minutes, a crowd of 65,000 welcomed the Prince of Wales on his arrival at Woolwich Arsenal football ground to open the new double-decked stand, which cost £45,000 and is the last word in football luxury, increasing the capacity of the gate to 85,000. The Prince left early to accompany their Majesties for the Royal welcome to the King and Queen of Denmark on their arrival for a week’s visit.
