The Union Company has received cabled advice that its chartered steamer Narbada left Calcutta on December 9 for Penaug, Singapore, and Samarang, _ to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, and Bluff. She is due at Auckland on January 7, and here on January 12. TASMANIA'S DEPARTURE. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s steamer Tasmania is now scheduled to clear Auckland finally at daybreak on Wednesday for London, via Cape Horn, Montevideo, and Las Palmas. THE PORT BRISBANE. The O. and D. Line advises that the Port Brisbane, which is to leave Bluff to-day for Gisborne, Napier, aud Wellington to continue her Homeward loading, will now complete at Port Chalmers and is scheduled to clear that port finally on January 7 for London, via Cape Horn and Las Palmas. NELSON SERVICE. The Anchor Company’s Nelson ferry steamer Arahura, which has been laid up at Nelson during the winter, is due at Wellington this morning and will go on the Patent Slip to complete her overhaul and survey. She will leave here on Thursday for Nelson in place of the Matangi, which is to slip for cleaning and painting. The Matangi will resume her running next Saturday. The Arahura, which is due back from Nelson next Saturday morning, will remain in port over the week-end. She will leave here again next Monday for Nelson, replacing the Kaitoa, and from then on the Arahura and Matangi will maintain the Nelson ferry service. BENCRUACHAN LOADING. The G. H. Seales chartered steamer Bencruachan reached Picton yesterday morning from Port Kembla to commence loading wool for Dunkirk, London, and Hull. She is to leave there again tomorrow morning for Napier, Tolago Bay, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Port Chalmers to complete. The vessel is due here on December 22 and is to clear Port Chalmers finally on January 6. TARANAKI AT AUCKLAND. From Glasgow, Liverpool and Cape Town, the Shaw-Savill motor-ship Taranaki reached Auckland early yesterday afternoon; She will later complete discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff, and is now due here next Monday morning.
