MR. P. HARLE BACK FROM ENGLAND

BRINGS IMPROVED TUTORIAL METHODS FOR ACCOUNTANCY ( STUDENTS. Mr. I*. Harle, F.P;A., N.Z.; F.1.A., N.Z.; F.C.A.A:, is well known by the position he held in. New Zealand for over ten years as Director of Banks Commercial College, Christchurch, as well as by his professional activities as a Public Accountant. Being of the opinion that there was room for vast improvement in New Zealand’s methods of Accountancy Tuition, Mr. Harle decided to proceed to England and study first-hand the improved methods for which that country is noted. Mr. Harle devoted the whole of twelve months to this purpose. During this period Mr. Harle was a member of the tutorial staff of the largest and most important Accountancy College in England and lectured to hundreds of examinees of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and of the Society of Incorporated Accountants and Auditors — both in London and in the other important centres of England. Mr. Harle was able to study in a practical way the English methods of training and the manner in which they excelled those in force in New Zealand. With this practical, first-hand knowledge of English Accountancy training, Mr. Harle has returned to the Dominion for the purpose of establishing the Harle’s College of Accountancy Ltd. in the main centres. Opening January 7, this college will make available to students throughout New Zealand, for the first time, the improved methods of English tuition that have proved so eminently successful, and which are vastly ahead of any tuition hitherto available in the Dominion. Mr. Harle is also introducing an improved Revision Course for students who have failed to secure a “pass” at previous examinations. The importance of this advance in Accountancy Training will be appreciated by every student—those that are contemplating accountancy as a profession and those who have “failed” at examinations. Mr. Harle will willingly answer all enquiries relative to Accountancy Study, and students are invited to write to him personally, P.O. Box 819, Christchurch, pending the opening of the Head Office, Levy Building, Wellington, on January 7.—Advt.
