WEEK-END WEATHER
Sunshine and Blustering Wind A strong north-west wind blew all day in Wellington on Saturday; in the afternoon light rain fell at intervals. The conditions greatly improved yesterday. there being bright warm sunshine throughout a glorious day. The wind remained in the north and gained force in the afternoon. In Auckland a continuation of flue weather was experienced during the week-end. A boisterous south-west wind and cloudy sky prevailed on Saturday afternoon, but there were summer conditions yesterday. In Christchurch Saturday was fine and warm, but marred by a squally north-west wind. Yesterday was fine, but a strong north-easter was blowing. In Dune<ijn the weather was cloudy and fine on Saturday, but a few light showers fell late in the afternoon and in the evening. The wind was fresh from the north-east, later changing to the south-east. Yesterday was beautifully fine.
