SANDERS CUP TRIAL
Avalon Ahead of Heather 9-MILE RACE AT DUNEDIN By Telegraph.—Press Association. Dunedin, Nov. 20. The first Sanders Cup trial was sailed yesterday under ideal conditions. Avalon, Heather, Eileen, Winifred and Squib took part in the race, which was sailed over a 9-mile course. The ex-Auckland boat, Avalon, finished 50 seconds ahead of Heather, Eileen and Winifred being third and fourth.
