APPLES FOR ENGLAND
Chief Sources of Supply London, Nov. 17. In the House of Commons Mr. W. Runciman, President of the Board of Trade, informed Sir Vivian Henderson (C.) that the chief sources of imported apples for the last nine months were: United States, 2,488.000 cwt; Australia, 1,683,000 cwt; Canada, 921,000 cwt; New Zealand, 572,000 cwt. The foreign totals were 3,409,000 cwt; Empire 3,200.000 cwt.
