'V’OTICE is hereby given that the follow* 44 ing resolution was passed by the Eastbourne Borough Council at a Special Meeting held on November 14, 1932 :— “In pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in it by the ‘Municipal Corporations Act, 1920.’ and its Amendments and every other power and authority in that behalf enabling it, the Eastbourne Borough Council doth hereby by Special Order make this By-law.” The short title of the By-law shall be “The Eastbourne Waterworks By-Jaw,” and it shall control the following matters relating to the Council’s water supply:— (1) Work to be carried out by registered and licensed plumber. (2) Dwelling houses to have proper and sufficient water supply. (3) Written application to be made before service installed. (4) Issue of permit before any work carried out. (5) Class and size of pipes and fittings to be installed. (6) Manner in which service to be laid. (7) As to Ordinary supply. (8) As to Extraordinary supply—charge for same to be fixed. (9) Inspection of all services. (10) Prevention for waste of water. (11) Penalty for any breach of Bylaw.
