REBELLION OVER
Afghan Tribesmen (Received Nov, 17, 9.30 p.m.) Calcutta, Nov. 17. As a sequel to the execution of the ex-Minister, Nabi Khan, for inciting tribesmen to rebellion, Afghan military operations against the Darikhel Jadran tribe, who are known to be sympathetic toward ex-King Amanullah, resulted in the capture of all the tribesmen, the seizure of their arms and ammunition, and the confiscation of their houses and lands. Nabi Khan’s three accomplices have been executed. It is officially stated that the rebellion threat has now ended.
