Mrs. T. H. Hill, Wellington, is visiting Auckland. Mrs. H. J. Harrap, Wellington, is visiting Christchurch. Miss Ailsa Nelson, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. Arthur Sldey, Dunedin. Miss Olive Rosingrave. Wellington, has returned from a visit to Tirnaru. Mrs. Lewis, who was the guest of Mrs. David Whyte, Kelburn, has returned to Masterton. Mrs. Eric Knight, Dannerirke, is the guest of Mrs. A. R. Sclanders, Grant Road. Mr. and Mrs. A. Turner, Wellington, recently visited The Hermitage, Mount Cook. Mr. and Mrs. C. Pearce, Hobson Street, hare left on a visit to Rotorua, Waitomo and Auckland. Lord and Lady Salvesen, of England, will arrive in Wellington by the Itangitane, which is due on November 28. Mrs. W. H. Price, Wellington, is the guest of Mrs. J. F. Duncan, Christchurch. Mrs. B. G. Bond, of Auckland, is visiting Wellington, and is at the Empire Hotel. Lady Parr and Miss Betty Parr left Auckland by the Mariposa for Australia on Tuesday. .• * Mrs. J. W. Bailey, Mount Eden, Auckland, has returned home after a visit to Wellington. Miss. Nelle Scanlan will arrive in Wellington from London by the Rangitane, due on November 23. Mrs. Lindsay Russell, Cashmere Hills, Christchurch, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. Algar Williams, Featherston, is staying with her sister, Miss Phyllis Boyle, in Christchurch. Mrs. .A, Ullrich; Papanui; Christchurch, is visiting her son at Lower Hutt. Miss Nancy Roualdsou, Wellington, who has been the guest of Mrs. J. M. Paterson, Dunedin, has returned home. Mrs. Howley and Mrs. H. H. Webb, Timaru, who were at Antrim House, went to Palmerston North on Monday. Airs. Napier, Auckland, left for Martinborough on Monday after a visit to Mrs. Bristow, Karori. Mrs. Rankine-Brown. Burnell Avenue, came back to Wellington on .Saturday after spending a few weeks with Mrs. Bruges, Christchurch. Mrs. P. Cameron, Kelburn, left for Dunedin on Monday, accompanied by Mrs. Cameron, sen., who has been her guest. Miss Jean Stevenson, national general secretary of the Y.W.C.A., returned to Wellington from the south at the week-end. Miss Peggy Loughnan, Lower Hutt, is visiting her grandfather, Mr. H. O. Devenlsh Meares, Fendalton, Christchurch. Mrs. Yal Hitchings, Taumarunui, is staying with Mrs. L. Hitchings, Wellington, until the end of the week, when she will return home. Mrs. Max Noble Campbell. Masterton, has returned to her home after a visit to Palmerston North, where she was the guest of Mrs. Norman Mackie, Fitzherbert Avenue. Mrs. Joseph MeGeorge, who attended the provincial conferences of the Plunket .Society at Wellington, Wanganui and Auckland, has. returned to Dunedin.

Aliss Dorothy Bridges, daughter of Admiral Bridges, who has been the guest of Mrs. Brathwaite, Hastings, for several months, passed through Wellington recently on her way back to her home in Sydney. Air. and Airs. A. AV. Hutchings will leave M’ellington this week to live permanently in Rotorua. Several farewell parties have been given for Airs. Hutchings, who is a member of the University Women’s Club aud a representative of the M’omen’s Unemployment Committee, and will be very much missed by her large circle of friends.
