HOUSING CAMPAIGN
Small Working-class Homes PROPOSALS IN BRITAIN (Rett October 31, 5,5 p.m.) jfflciai Wireless Rugby, October 29. Proposals for using the resources of building societies in furthering the State campaign for the provision of small working-class houses are announced as a result of the deliberations of the Housing Committee of the National Association of Building Societies. Under a scheme outlined in a memorandum presented to the Health Minister, the State, local authorities, and the societies would combine to guarantee 20 per cent, of the mortgage loans.
