Minister’s Twenty-five Years
• r , . Wanganui, Oct. 31. .‘■ At the close of the service at',. St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Wanganui, on Sunday morning the office-bearers met their minister, the Rev. John Paterson, and congratulated him on completing 25 years in the ministry of the Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Paterson’s first charge was at Broken Hill, New South Wales, where he served four years. He then went to Chalmers Church, Sydney, where lie remained three years. At St. Paul’s, Christchurch, he served ten years, and then came to Wanganui, where he has lived for the past eight years. On Sunday morning he preached a special sermon, .“Thoughts on Twenty-five Years of Ministry.”
