Waiwetu Club’s Opening The Official opening of the Waiwetu summer season will take place on .Sunday next. November 6, when the competitions will be played, and the first match for the summer eup. Members and intending members are invited to be present. The final of the senior championship between J. W. Wallace and D. S. Mullan will also be played that day over 36 holes. THE KAPITI CUP The Knpiti Cup for 10 handicap players. to be contested on the Paraparaumu links daring next week-end. has attracted over a hundred entries from all parts of the district. There appear to be nleir.y of trophy events for good players, hut in the Kapiti Cup event an interesting competition is being provided for golfers who have never played, and who possibly never will play, under a 10 handicap
