Palmerston North, Oct. 31.
A proposal to form a New Zealand Federation of Anglers was discussed at a well-attended meeting of angling club representatives at Palmerston North recently. Mr. E. Ward, president of the Palmerston North Angling Club, presided. After a lengthy discussion the proposal was carried unanimously. A committee of four members of the Palmerston North club will undertake the work of arranging for the formation of the federation. Mr. Thornton, of Wellington, is to be requested to act in an advisory capacity to this committee.
