Banker at Fan Tan Game COUNTRYMEN CHARGED By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, October 31. Two Chinese gardeners, Wong Yet, aged 38, and Wong Chee, aged 31, were committed for trial to-day on a charge that, being armed wibh an offensive weapon, a knife, they robbed Chong Gin of £3l/10/-. Chong Gin said he was banker at a fan tan game when Wong Chee grabbed the money from the table, and Wong Yet, with a knife upraised, told the others in the room not to interfere. They were all frightened and did not attempt to follow accused.
Accused reserved their defence, bail being renewed.
