WEEK-END WEATHER
Showers and Sunshine After a dull, overcast Saturday and heavy rain during the night, Wellington enjoyed a bright, pleasant Sunday. A fairly strong northerly breeze was blowing on both days. A light northerly wind and showery weather was experienced at Auckland ou Saturday until midday. Afterward boisterous south-westerly weather prevailed during the week-end, the wind being squally and accompanied by occasional heavy showers.
At Christchurch the sky was overcast on Saturday, with mild temperatures and light variable winds. In the evening there were light showers. Yesterday was fine and sunny, with a southerly wind. At Dunedin the weather was fine on Saturday, with considerable cloud and a light breeze from the south-west. Yesterday conditions were mild but changeable, with one or two showers. A fresh breeze was blowing from the south-west.
