BOMB EXPLOSION

Greymoutli Police Station WINDOWS SHAKEN Concussion Near Building By Telegraph.—Press Association. Greymoutli, Oct. 28. Coincident with an announcement to-day of a £2OO reward in connection with tlie recent bomb explosion :i': the residence of Police Inspector Lopdell, there was. this evening, another explosion, presumably from a similar missile. The scene this, time, however, was the police station itself. About 9.5 p.m. a loud report was heard over a considerable area, but no indication was subsequently obtainable as to exactly where the explosion occurred. A smell of explosive was noticed in the vicinity of the station, the windows of which were shaken, but no sign of damage was discernible when the police made a search. Presumably the explosive went off in the air before lauding. It must have been within 20 yards of the building.
