Anglo-Egyptian Relations OFFICIAL ASSURANCE Official Wireless. Rugby, Oct 27. Asked whether he could make a statement as to the relations existing between the British Government and the present Government of Egypt, and whether the latter is one with which these relations may be developed in the direction of a settlement of the outstanding questions, the Foreign Undersecretary, Captain R. A. Eden, in the House of Commons to-day stated that he was happy to say that the relations with the Egyptian Government were entirely friendly. The British Government, ho added, made no reservations in regarding the present Egyptian Administration as one with which Anglo-Egyptian relations both have been and may continue to be developed at a time and in a manner which appeared most suitable for the purpose.
