WELLINGTON’S BEST STYLIST. To Whom Shall We Award the Palm? Do you aspire to being a good Stylist? Do you know what is worn and when and how to wear it —and, better still, can you make it yourself ? That is the question that amateur dressmakers are asking themselves these days, now that Kirkcaldie’s are offering prizes for the Best Amateur Stylist in five different classes. Class I is for an Adult’s Cotton Dress; Class 11, Adult’s Silk or Art. Silk Dress; Class 111, Adult’s Woollen Coat; Class IV, Adult’s Lace Afternoon or Evening Dress; Class .V, the Beginners’ Section, Child’s Cotton Frock. Any number of garments may be entered in each class, provided the materials and patterns are bought at Kirkcaldie’s, and accompanied by their purchase dockets and entry forms. Only amateurs may compete, and the decision of the judges must be regarded as final. All results will be published in the daily Press. Don’t delay with your entries —the Competition Closes on November 20. You’ll have to make your Summer Dresses, anyway, so why not win a prize as well? KIRKCALDIE AND STAINS, LTD. . PUBLIC NOTICES.
