GIRL GUIDE PARTY
The Girl.Guides’ committee held a social at Roseneath School recently, combining cards and dancing, to raise funds for the equipment of the newlyinaugurated Girl Guide Company. The dance room was gaily decorated with streamers and lanterns. Several prizes were given for novelty dances. The euchre and “500” prizes were won by Air. and Airs. Pinnock, Airs. Pegram, and Air. AlcAlorran. The cake donated by Mrs. Cox for competition was won by Airs. Husband. The committee is grateful to all those who gave donations and to the band for giving its services free.
