BAGS FOR SHOES
Handy little bags to hold shoes or slippers which have to be packed for travelling may easily be made from old stockings. When stocking-ieet are worn out the tops are often still in quite good condition, and they may be made into bags in the following way:— Cut the feet off above the ankle; tie the cut ends firmly with tape about an inch from the edge, and turn the Stockings again. Long, narrow bags are formed which easily hold a pair of shoes. It is not necessary to tie the bags at the top. ' They are long enough to fold over and keep in place. The suspender tops of the stockings make a firm, neat finish to tbe bags.
