A CAT AND A DOG
« « » When Vic, a terrier dog at Combe Martin in Devon, was killed by a motorcar, Dinkie, a tabby cat, died very soon after. The two had been fast friends, playing together and sleeping in the same basket; Dinkie would leave half her milk for Vic, and Vic shared dainty titbits with Dinkie. After the death of the dog the cat refused all food and drink, and died in a few days. They now rest in one grave.
