£8 Million to be Raised PREMIERS’ DECISION (Rec. October 27, 9.50 p.m.) Melbourne, Oct. 27. The Premiers’ Conference agreed to the flotation of a loan of £8 million at 3} per cent., with an underwriting fee of 10/-, making the effective percentage £3/16/-. The Prime Minister, Mr. J. A. Lyons, ‘lnformed the Premiers that the associated banks considered it inadvisable to float a funding loan at this juncture.
