Overcast Conditions in City The weather was fine but overcast hi Wellington yesterday, with a good deal of mist on the hills. There was a light breeze from the northAt Auckland frequent heavy showers fell'in the morning, and it rained steadily throughout the greater part of the afternoon. The weather was oppressive, there being only a slight breeze from the north-north-east. Though the morning at Christchurch was dull, the afternoon was bright and sunny, with a strong breeze from the east-north-east. The maximum temperature was 56 degrees. line sunny weather prevailed at Dunedin. A fresh breeze from the north-ea-xt was blowing.
