Draft Regulations Considered A meeting of the council of the New Zealand Road Transport Alliance was held .in Wellington this week, when the draft regulations for goods services in -eontrolled areas under part 3 of the Transport Licensing Act, 1031, were considered. It was decided that the Minister of .Transport be requested to extend the time for making representations from November 7, 11)32, as originally fixed, to January 20. 1933, in order to permit of due consideration being given to the proposals by operators and all interested parties throughout New Zealand The council of the alliance waited upon the lit. Hon. J. G. Coates, and conveyed the position to him, and received a promise Unit some extension of time would be granted. Subsequently: advice was received from Mr. Coates to: the effect that November 30 would lie the final date for the presentation of representations regarding the draft regulations.
