“HALLOWE’EN” FAIR

A visit to the Blue Triangle Hall last night where preparations for the Hallowe’en Fair were in full swing showed a novel and colourful scheme of decoration in course of construction under the skilful direction of Mr. Fancourt. The stalls that will exhibit a variety of wares for sale represent the rooms of a house. The bedroom stall will offer dainty underwear, knitted garments and dolls for sale: the living-room has many useful articles. Then there is the kitchen stall and dainty articles for the bathroom. Cakes, jams and pickles will stock the pantry, and a special feature of the garden will be the sale of plants and ferns as well as flowers. Many novel toys will delight the children at the playroom stall. A musical programme wijl be supplied each afternoon by Mrs. Kenny and Miss Napier. Details of the evening entertainment appear elsewhere.
