Hope Gibbons, Lyall Bay, a ball was given in aid of the Scots College pavilian fund last night at their lovely home "Ngaroma.” The many- guests who partook of their hospitality were amazed at the wonderfully arranged flowers—all from the garden—the work of Mrs. Gibbons. Nobody’ but those people who from time to time have lent their homes for balls and receptions can fully realise the sacrifice and work entailed.
