Nairn—Kilight On October 24, at St. Matthew s Church, Masterton, the marriage took placo of Jocelyn Mary, youngest daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Prendergast Knight, and lan Charles, eldest soh'of Mrs. Nairn and the late Air. J; Nairn, of Pourerere, Hawke’s Bay. The officiating clergyman was the Rev. E. J. Rich. The wedding was a quiet one, the only guests being the immediate relatives of the bride and bridegroom. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming frock of pink angel-skin lace, ankle length, with short puffed sleeves and tight-fitting skirt fully flared at the hem. The belt was of twisted pink and blue ribbon, with a bow at the back and long ends falling to the hem. Her hat was of pink leghorn straw trimmed with a cluster of pink flowers and blue ribbon. She carried a lovely bouquet of pink roses, carnwlons, lily of the valley, and forget-me-not. The bride was attended by bliss Nancy Nairn, sister of the bridegroom, who wore blue voile embroidered in white, a blue straw hat trimmed with blue and white ribbon, and carried a bouquet of pink carnations and blue irises. Varcoe, Dallon Bank, Lawrence, Otago, was solemnised at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Marshall, The, Parade, Island Bay, on Saturday evening. The Rev. Mr. Keen, Methodist Minister at Island Bay, officiated at the ceremony, which was held in the drawing-room. The bride, Avho was given away by Mr. S. AVoods, wore a Lido blue lace frock and blue felt hat, and carried ii bouquet of pink tulips, carnations, and maidenhair fern. She was attended by Miss Clair Sherson, who wore a frock ot beige lace and carried a bouquet similar to that of the bride. The best man was Mr. T. A’arcoe, brother of the bridegroom.
