THE MOONLIGHT EXTENDED GOLD SLUICING COMPANY, . LIMITED. Unusual interest in mining circles has arisen from a paragraph which appeared in the local and general news column of the “Herald,” Auckland, dated October 18, 1932, reading as follows; — A PROFITABLE RETURN. “Keen interest was taken in an exceptionally fine sample of gold won from the Moonlight claim which was on view in Gore last week. The total weight of the gold was 2700 z., which at presentday values represents approximately £l6OO. The gold was fairly coarse and included a number of pieces weighing up to half an ounce. The claim is not a difficult one to work and the return represents the work of three men over a period ot about three months.” The Moonlight Extended Gold Sluicing Company, Limited, has the largest area of unbroken alluvial ground in this channel, is at least four miles nearer the source of the gold, and has the only water right available for continuous sluicing, so that, taking all these factors into consideration, and judging from the report of the mining engineer, there is every indication that this company’s property is even richer. A report on the property of the Moonlight Extended Gold Sluicing Company, Limited, given by a prominent mining engineer of Dunedin, states, inter alia: “In bringing my report to a conclusion I may say that I have been greatly impressed with the possibilities of your pro]MTty worked as a ground sluicing proposition. With the special facilities of unlimited heads of water, and a carefully devised plan and policy of working, I .consider that your claim possesses all the elements necessary to make it a very sound investment.” This report is available on application to the secretary. A limited number of 2/- shares is now offered for public subscription—3d on application, 3d on allotment, - and the balance in calls of 3d at Intervals of not loss than one month. Prospectuses, application forms, and full particulars can be obtained from any member of flic nflili.’itcd stock exchanges of New Zealand, or the secretary, 23 Shortland Street, Auckland.
