A tribute to the generous nature of the late Mr. B. P. Palmer, the Auckland All "Black .Rugby footballer, who collapsed during a club game at the Showgrounds four weeks ago, was paid bv Mr. XV. J. XVallace, manager of the 1932 AU Blacks on the Australian tour, recently.- After the third Test, saidMr. XVallace, Mr. Palmer secured one of the balls used in.the match and got all the players who took part in the game to put their signatures on it. Instead of keeping the ball for himself, Mr. Palmer gave it to Mrs. XVallace as a present for her son.
